Staten Island is where it all started.

The first factory in the country was there. Even Charles Lindbergh came to a Staten Island company to buy his trans-Atlantic plane, however, they wouldn’t sell it to him.

There were four airplane factories and over twenty landing sites on the island. The early pioneers who flew there would be the “who’s who” of aviation at the time.

Staten Island, The other cradle of aviation” is the story of this history.
